Fisher , who had been unable to attend the previous meetings , was then installed in the J . chair , after which the election of officers for the ensuing year took place , and resulted as follows : Comps . 's jewel for his services to the chapter during the past year .

Macdonald Lodge , No . 104 . The installation meeting of this lodge took place on the 10 th inst ., at Mark Masons ' Hall , Great Queen-street , W . C , when Bro . Walter H . Stone , S . W . and W . A first class musical programme was provided by the W . M ., which considerably added to the enjoyment of the evening .

M . 1791 ; and it being unanimous they were impressively addressed by the W . M ., ably assisted by the officers , who were well posted in their respective duties . It being election night Bro . Rossdale , S . W ., was elected W . M . ; J . N . Frye , P . M ., Treas . ; and S . Ellis , Tyler . A vote of thanks was passed to the W . M . for his excellent services during the past year , and a Past Master ' s jewel was voted to him .

Apologies for non-attendance having been read , the lodge was closed and the brethren adjourned to the banquet , which was well served . The W . M . presided as usual in a most able and impressive manner , his utterances being full of point . Bros . Dr . Kiallmark and R . Shaw responded on behalf of "The Grand Officers . " Bros . A . W . Bateman , P . M . 332 , P . P . G . M . O . Kent , and John French acknowledged the toast of " The Visitors . " In their respective replies they spoke in terms of commendation of the working of the W . M . and his officers .

"The Health of the Master elect" was drunk with great warmth , and Bro . Rossdale duly acknowledged the compliment . Bros . Larter , Parkhouse , Monson , and Huish responded on behalf of " The Past Masters , " and Bros . J . N . Frye , Hardinge , Wales , and Shutt , for "The Officers . " The W . M . had again placed before his brethren and their visitors an excellent programme of instrumental and vocal music in which Miss Edith Hands , Mr . W . R . Maxwell , Mr . B . Patterson Parker , and Bro . Albert Fox highly distinguished themselves . The violoncello selections of Mr . Parker , " Berceuse " and " Caprice Hongrois , " ' were charmingly played and created well-deserved applause .

The W . M . is to be congratulated on the great success that attended his last night in the chair .

Herr Wurm s Viennese White Band played musical selections during dinner . The LORD MAYOR , in proposing the first toast— " The Oueen and the Craft "—said : Brethren , the Queen is a descendant of a family of Masons , is the mother of Masons and possesses all thegoodjqualities of Masonry . The Craft is an older institution than that of the British Monarchy , but always teaching loyalty to the Queen and the Throne . ( Applause . ) The toast was received with enthusiasm .

The LORD MAYOR next gave the toast of "The Most Worshipful Grand Master , H . R . H . the Prince of Wales , " He said they , as Masons , were delighted to know that his Royal Highness was fast recovering from the accident , the careful treatment of which had enabled him to get about amongst his friends once more . They all recognised in his Royal Highness one of the best Masons that ever lived , and he asked the brethren to join him in drinking the health of their Grand Master ,

"The Health of the Master elect" was drunk with great warmth , and Bro . Rossdale duly acknowledged the compliment . Bros . Larter , Parkhouse , Monson , and Huish responded on behalf of " The Past Masters , " and Bros . J . N . Frye , Hardinge , Wales , and Shutt , for "The Officers . " The W . M . had again placed before his brethren and their visitors an excellent programme of instrumental and vocal music in which Miss Edith Hands , Mr . W . R . Maxwell , Mr . B . Patterson Parker , and Bro . Albert Fox highly distinguished themselves . The violoncello selections of Mr . Parker , " Berceuse " and " Caprice Hongrois , " ' were charmingly played and created well-deserved applause .

Herr Wurm s Viennese White Band played musical selections during dinner . The LORD MAYOR , in proposing the first toast— " The Oueen and the Craft "—said : Brethren , the Queen is a descendant of a family of Masons , is the mother of Masons and possesses all thegoodjqualities of Masonry . The Craft is an older institution than that of the British Monarchy , but always teaching loyalty to the Queen and the Throne . ( Applause . ) The toast was received with enthusiasm .

The LORD MAYOR next gave the toast of "The Most Worshipful Grand Master , H . R . H . the Prince of Wales , " He said they , as Masons , were delighted to know that his Royal Highness was fast recovering from the accident , the careful treatment of which had enabled him to get about amongst his friends once more . They all recognised in his Royal Highness one of the best Masons that ever lived , and he asked the brethren to join him in drinking the health of their Grand Master ,
