The Board recommend that the Kirb y Lodge , No . 385 , vvho has neglected to comply with the requirements of the Book of Constitutions , Article 150 , and who has , in consequence thereof been summoned to appear in Grand Lodge to show cause and has not replied , should be erased . The Honorary President of the Boaid of Festival Stewards of 18 95 having
, reported to the Board that a brother vvho had been appointed Grand Steward had refused to pay his proportion of the deficit of the Festival in June , 18 95 , the Board have no option but to recommend the Most Worshi pful Grand Master to cancel the appointment , and to rule that the brother is not entitled to assume the rank or wear the clothing of a Past Grand Steward .

Le Cronier , D . P . G . M ., was unfortunately unable to attend the meeting , and he had , therefore , requested Bro . Dr . M . Le Cronier , P . M ., to undertake the necessary duties of the office . The W . M . elect was then presented to the Installing Master , who not only showed himself thoroughly acquainted with his work , but also gave it in a manner which would be very difficult to surpass . The impressiveness of the
ceremony was considerably increased by the introduction of several appropriate Masonic odes , which were most admirably rendered under the direction of Bro . Rev . S . S . Stitt . The VV . The Iodge being closed , the brethren adj aurned to the banquet in the lower hall , after which the VV . M . gave the usual loyal and Masonic toasts . In responding to the toast of " The Officers and Members of the Provincial G -and Lodge , " the P . G . M . said he was very glad to see that the lodge vyas doing its utmost to uphold and improve Freemasonry in the province by exercising its discrimination in the selection of its candidates . He was extremely pleased at the manner in vvhich the musical portion of the ceremony had been carried out , and hoped that an old custom
thus revived in their lodge vvould be adopted by the other lodges of the province . The manner in which the installation ceremony had been conducted vvas , he considered , worthy of all praise j in fact , he had never attended any installation meeting at which the ceremony had been performed more eff : ctively than it had been that night . It was impossible to bestow too much praise on the Installing Master , Bro . Dr . M . Le Cronier . especially in view of the fact that he had been called upon to act at but very short notice . In conclusion , he said that he felt confident that under the able guidance of the VV . M . the lodge would maintain its good reputation and continue to prosper .
Other toasts , interspersed with songs by Bros . Dickson , Broa , Dyer , and others , and recitations by Bro . Middleton and the W . M . followed , and the proceedings terminated at an early hour .

Beresford Ryley announced that having acted as a Steward at the Festival of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , he had great pleasure in stating that the lodge and brethren had
contributed about £ 30 to his list , including £ 5 5 s . from himself . Bro . H . H . Room stated that the Province of Middlesex , consisting or 42 lodges , had contributed about £ 3700 to the Charity j that the Prov . G . M ., the Right Hon . Lord George F . Hamilton , M . Le Cronier , D . P . G . M ., was unfortunately unable to attend the meeting , and he had , therefore , requested Bro . Dr . M . Le Cronier , P . M ., to undertake the necessary duties of the office . The W . M . elect was then presented to the Installing Master , who not only showed himself thoroughly acquainted with his work , but also gave it in a manner which would be very difficult to surpass . The impressiveness of the
ceremony was considerably increased by the introduction of several appropriate Masonic odes , which were most admirably rendered under the direction of Bro . Rev . S . S . Stitt . The VV . The Iodge being closed , the brethren adj aurned to the banquet in the lower hall , after which the VV . M . gave the usual loyal and Masonic toasts . In responding to the toast of " The Officers and Members of the Provincial G -and Lodge , " the P . G . M . said he was very glad to see that the lodge vyas doing its utmost to uphold and improve Freemasonry in the province by exercising its discrimination in the selection of its candidates . He was extremely pleased at the manner in vvhich the musical portion of the ceremony had been carried out , and hoped that an old custom
thus revived in their lodge vvould be adopted by the other lodges of the province . The manner in which the installation ceremony had been conducted vvas , he considered , worthy of all praise j in fact , he had never attended any installation meeting at which the ceremony had been performed more eff : ctively than it had been that night . It was impossible to bestow too much praise on the Installing Master , Bro . Dr . M . Le Cronier . especially in view of the fact that he had been called upon to act at but very short notice . In conclusion , he said that he felt confident that under the able guidance of the VV . M . the lodge would maintain its good reputation and continue to prosper .
Other toasts , interspersed with songs by Bros . Dickson , Broa , Dyer , and others , and recitations by Bro . Middleton and the W . M . followed , and the proceedings terminated at an early hour .

'The Secretary read the report of the Audit Committee , and it was resolved that the same be received , adopted and entered on the minutes . Bro . J . Beresford Ryley introduced the visitors' seriatim to the W . M . Bro . J . Beresford Ryley announced that having acted as a Steward at the Festival of the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution , he had great pleasure in stating that the lodge and brethren had
contributed about £ 30 to his list , including £ 5 5 s . from himself . Bro . H . H . Room stated that the Province of Middlesex , consisting or 42 lodges , had contributed about £ 3700 to the Charity j that the Prov . G . M ., the Right Hon . Lord George F . Hamilton , M . P ., Past G . W ., vvho had presided , vvas well pleased and gratified with the result . The ballot for Bro . Moss as a joining member , proposed at the last meeting was not proceeded with . Bro . Wingate presented to the lodge a large photograph taken on the occasion of tne last meeting of Prov . Grand Lodge , in Masonic frame , which the VV . M . accepted on behalf ol the lodge . Bro . Saunion moved , and Bro . J . Beresford Ryley seconded , a cordial vote of thanks
to Bro . Wingate for the gift , which was carried unanimously . Communications were then read from absent brethren , and * ' Hearty good wishes " received from visiting brethren .
