The presentation , which took the form of an address , with a silver goblet to the Provincial Grand Master and a dress ring to his wife , Mrs , Lyne , was made in felicitous terms by Bro . Old York Lodge , The second regular meeting of this newly-constituted lodge was held at the Freemasons' Hall , Saleni-street , Bradford , on Monday , the nth inst ., when Bro . Jeremiah L . Atherton , W . C . N ., was supported by a goodly attendance of the ofiicers and brethren . Six candidates from thc Old Vork ( T . l . ) Mark Lodge , were elevated . Bro . Chas . Crabtree was elected W . C . N , for the ensuing year . After the loelge had been closed , the brethren dined together , ami spent a social evening , enlivened with toast , music , and song .

I in ; MAKJIUS OF SAMSIIIIKV has accepted the invitation of the Lord Mayor elect anil the Sheriffs to the Guildhall banquet on the oth prox ., and so have the Marquis of Lansdowne , Bros . Lord George Hamilton , Sir M . White Ridley , Hart ., and Lord Ashbourne ( Lord Chancellor of Ireland ) , Viscount Cross , Mr . Ritchie , and Bro . Akers-Douglas . BRO . THOMAS J . UNWIN ( late No . 619 ) . On Sunday last at Deronda-road , Tulse Hill , at thc age of 71 , Bro . Thomas J . Unwin passed away after many years' endurance of failing health . Overgo years ago he was initiated , passed and raised in the Beadon Lodge , No . 6 . 19 , and

very shoitly after his initiation he produced the portrait of the then late Secretary of the lodge , the deceased Bro . Blackburn , P . M ., which has ever since adorned the lodtre-room . Bro . Unwin was for many years in business in Piccadilly at a site which the St . James ' s Hall acquired , for part of it present premises , and subsequently in Regent-street , and at Belgrave Mansions .

Tim JVDISSS , headed by the Lord Chancellor ( Lord Halsbury ) , attended divine service in Westminster Abbey on Monday . Subsequently the judges were received and entertained at breakfast by his lordship , and then the whole proceeded to the Law Courts in the Strand , which were then formally opened for the transaction of business .

BRO . THOMAS J . UNWIN ( late No . 619 ) . On Sunday last at Deronda-road , Tulse Hill , at thc age of 71 , Bro . Thomas J . Unwin passed away after many years' endurance of failing health . Overgo years ago he was initiated , passed and raised in the Beadon Lodge , No . 6 . 19 , and

very shoitly after his initiation he produced the portrait of the then late Secretary of the lodge , the deceased Bro . Blackburn , P . M ., which has ever since adorned the lodtre-room . Bro . Unwin was for many years in business in Piccadilly at a site which the St . James ' s Hall acquired , for part of it present premises , and subsequently in Regent-street , and at Belgrave Mansions .

Tim JVDISSS , headed by the Lord Chancellor ( Lord Halsbury ) , attended divine service in Westminster Abbey on Monday . Subsequently the judges were received and entertained at breakfast by his lordship , and then the whole proceeded to the Law Courts in the Strand , which were then formally opened for the transaction of business .
