fifteen years' membership of the Order taken an active part in metropolitan Freemasonry . As a member of the Savage Club he was among the first candidates for initiation on the establishment of a lodge in connection with that body , and subsequently took part in founding the Empress Lodge ,

No . 2581 ( of which he became Alaster in 18 9 8 ) , as well as the Cavendish Lodge , No . 2620 ; the Wandle Lodge , No . 26 99 ; and the Earl ' s Court Lodt ^ e , No . 2765 . As a Royal Arch
