M . of a Lodge at Stockholm . The Swedish Rite was arranged about this time , and "aimed at a spiritual revival of the Order of the Temple , " the degrees
being nine in number , of which the highest was Vicarins Soloiuoiiis . During the following decade Gustavus III . was Protector of the Craft , and his Brother Charles , Duke of Sudermania , was elected Grand Master , being thus the chief officer of
