regularly , we beg to inform them that in future the FreemasonsMonthly Magazine and Masonic Mirror will be sent direct for twelve months , to any address , at the commencement of each month , upon receipt of an Order upon the General Post-Office , Charing-cross , for 10 s . 6 d ., payable to Mr . Henry George Warren , % Bed Lion-court , Eleet-street , by whom the same will be acknowledged ; The Brethren will observe that this allowance upon the full price can only be made when the Magazine is paid for in advance ; all single numbers will be charged as heretofore , Is . each , exclusive of the postage .
The Editor requests that all communications may be sent to him at 74-5 , Great Queen-street , Lincoln ' s-Inn Fields , by the 20 th of each month AT latest , to insure their insertion . Our Subscribers having experienced difficulty in obtaining the Magazine

Our increased size and the extent of Masonic intelligence we present to the "Brethren to-day will , we trust , convince them that we are fully determined to carry out the pledge which we gave in announcing the union of the Freemasons Magazine and Masonic Mirror , that we would enlarge it beyond its usual bulk whenever occasion required it , so as to present to the Craft an amount of news connected with the Order never before brought together in one publication .
" Doric . "—A serving Brother cannot become a subscribing member of the Lodge in which he was initiated , even if he should rise to affluence . The rule alluded to only refers to the payment to the Fund of Benevolence . Under the circumstances the difficulty might be overcome by the Brother being re-initiated and paying the regular fees . There is no prescribed clothing for Provincial Grand Lodges , but they adopt the same , or nearly so , as the Grand Lodge ; the chief difference being the width of the ribbon on the apron .
Wq are not aware that the Earl of Ellesmere has , as yet , resigned his office of Prov . G . M . We regret that our Birkenhead , Portsmouth , Eeading , and other letters of interest , arrived too late for our present number . We wish the Brethren would recollect , that we cannot receive copy after the 27 th , and that is generally too late . It is npt a fact that the London Lodge of Emulation has the ceremonies , & c .

Eadon , " Quebec . —It is not necessary , according to the Book of Constitutions , that upon the re-election of a Master for another year , he should be reinstalled , as he is of right Master until a successor shall have been duly elected and installed in his stead . H . A . II ., " Hartlepool . —Your questions ought to have been addressed to the Gr . Sec . for the Province , and not to London . Under any circumstances the questions could not have been answered by a person at a distance from the district . We are assured that the non-acknowledgment of your letter by the G . Sec . ( and all letters ought to be acknowledged ) arose from accident , and we trust you have received your inclosures by this time , the G . Sec . having promised us he would forward them to you .
