LDiNiUiLUiH . —In Saturday s impression we briefly alluded to a musical entertainment which was given by the Ooltic Lodge in their Lodge-room , Turf Hotel , on Friday evening last , to a crowded audience . Yvant of space prevented us from then giving a detailed account of the performance . We have now much pleasure in referring to it at greater length . The programme included a choice selection of Italian , German , and English -niorccuif . v , together with a , good sprinkling of our

national music . Where all was so good it is umieult to particularize ; we must , however , specially notice the eilbrts of the professional brethren who volunteered their services on the occasion , and who were ably seconded by the amateur T > rethren present . The concert ; was opened by a duet Scotch overture , admirably performed by l > ros . i < Yed . Rridgeman and TV 1 ontjgnani . . !> ro , d . S . Fraser elicited very i ' rea , t applause by his able rendering of lhahanTs famous song , "The Death

of Nelson / ' and proved himself eiplally at home in Lachner ' s lonely song , "The Sea hath its 1 'earls / 7 which be gave with exquisite taste , loo . Lridgeman performed one of his deservedly-popular Scotch airs on the concertina , , which was received with so much enthusiasm that , by the unanimous request of the brethren ( although encores were strictly prohibited ) , he later in the evening played , with thrilling effect , a lanfas .
