Tbe Freemasons' Magazine will be published on Thursday , 6 th April , instead of tbo 7 th , ( Good Friday ) . Advertisements for insertion in tbe next number should therefore be forwarded not later than 4 o'clock , on AVednesday , Sth inst . ALTERATION IS - THE DAY OF PUBLICATION OE TIIE
MAGAZINE . —Tbo Magazine will in future , be published on Saturday Morning ? , instead of on Friday Afternoons ; this alteration has been made in order to enable us to meet the wishes of a large section of oiu- readers , so as to allow of the insertion each week of Masonic reports reaching the Editor on Thursday mornings .
THE NEW POSTAL ARRAS GJEJMEXT . —On the 1 st of October last the new postal Arrangement came into operation , hy which the postage of the MAGAZINE is reduced one-half , of which our subscribers will receive the full benefit . In future , those of our subscribers who pay one year in advance will receive the MAGAZINE post-free . The price of the MAGAZINE will thus be reduced from 17 s . 4 d . to 13 s . per annum . Under this
arrangement the following will be the terms of subscription .- —One year , paid in advance , 13 s . ; six months , 7 s . 7 d . ; single numbers , by post , Svkl . AA ' e hope that by thus giving the advantage to our subscribers thoy will , in return , use their best endeavours to increase our circulation , by inducing their friends also to become subscribers . The installation of the E . AV . Bro . Colonel Lyne as Provincial Grand Master of Monmouthshire , and of tho A . \\ . Pro . S . George Homfray , Esq ., as Deputy Provincial Grand Master , by the R . AV . Bro . Theodore Mausel Talbot , Esq ., Provincial Grand Master for the Eastern Division of South AA ales , will take place at the Town Hall , Newport , on Thursday , the 20 th of April . The brethren will walk in procession to Saiut Woolos' Chinch

at 2 . 30 p . m ., where a , sermon will be preached by the Provincial Grand Chaplain , Bro . the Rev . Samuel Fox , aud a collection made on behalf of Local and Masonic Charities . The banquet will take place the same evening , at tho King ' s Head Hotel , at 4 . 30 . Very active preparations avo being made for the installation , and it is anticipated that a good muster will take place .

Luke's Lodge of Instruction , No . 144 , has been removed from the Pier Hotel , Chelsea , to the " Gladstone , " 202 and 204 . Brompton Road , S . AV . Hockley and Waters , as S . AV . and J . W ., in the absence of those officers . Bro . AV . S . Gover , AA . M ., No . 1 , was elected as joiningmember , ' and some other brethren were proposed . Tho lodge having been opened , tbe AA . M . gave tbe lecture ou the tracing board . A banquet followed the closing of the lodgeto -which
, the Grand Stewards of tbo year had been invited . LODGE OP FAITH ( No . 141 ) . —The regular meeting of this lodge was held at Anderton ' s Hotel , Fleet Street , ou Tuesday last , when Bro . J . Speed , AA . M ., opened the lodge in due form , supported by his oflicers and the members . Tbe minutes of tbe last meeting having been read and confirmed by Onslow , P . M ., Sec . tbe lodge was opened in tbe second degree , when Bros .
Abbott , P . Davies , and Huttouanswered the usual questions and retired . The lodge was then opened in the third degree , when Bro . Abbott , Davis , and Hut ton were raised to tbe degree of M . M . The lodge was then resumed to the second degree , and Bro . Parker was raised to the second degree . The lodge was resumed to the first degree , when Mesrrs . J . Downey , J . Wigel , and B . Levy were initiated . The lodge was then closedwith solemn and the members adjourned to au excellent banquet

Davies , and other brethren . Several visitors were present and spent a very enjoyable evening .
