PKINCE OE jAA ALES ' LODGE ( No . 324 ) . —This ; Lodge held its usual meeting at the Thatched House Tavern , Sfc . James ' s-stroet , oil Tuesday , January 25 th , Bro . AVheeler , AV . M ., in tho chair , when Bro . Robinson was raised to the degree of M . M . by the AV . M ., in a very able and effective manner . A letter was read from Bro . Rigby , S . AV ., requesting that he might be allowed to retain the office of AVarden another year , his health not permitting him at present to undertake the duties of AVorshipful Master ; Bro . Merrywcather , Junior AVarden , was therefore unanimously elected AVorshipful Master for the ensuing year . The Lodge beingldul

y closed , tho Brethren adjourned to an elegant banquet , afc which they had tho honour to entertain the following visitors to the Loclge : —Bros . Col . AA'estern , VV . M . of the Lodge of Antiquity ; Roberts , P . M . ; Gunn , P . M . ; Hall , P . M . ; and AVood , P . M . ancl Grand Steward . After tbe usual loyal , aucl Masonic toasts , Bro . Atty , P . M ., proposed the health of the AA . M . in an eloquent aud feeling address . He said that Bro . AVheeler had discharged the duties of the chair in this Loclge for two years most zealously ancl effectively . Of his working it was unnecessary to

speak ; visitors would form their own opinion of his abilities in that respect from the . very able performance they had ivitnessed that day in the Lodge . In the Craffc in general he bad earned for himself a high reputation for usefulness ; ho was a vice president to each of their three noble charities , in addition to ivhich he was au active member of the Board of General Purposes . As the representative of this Lodge in particular , he hacl served several stewardships , including the office of Grand Steward ; and although during his two years of office he hacl

resided a . . distance from Loudon , and had therefore travelled many hundreds of miles to discharge his duties , he had invariably been punctual at every meeting of tho Lodge . The toast was most enthusiastically received . The AV . M , then proposed the health of the visitors in au appropriate . speech , which was responded to by Bro . Col . AVestern , AV . M . of the Loclge of Antiquity , who said , that tho Brethren over ivhom he presided felt gratified at the truly Masonic feeling which had always existed between the Loclge of Antiquity and the Prince of Wales ' s

Lodge . He assured the AV . M . and the Brethren that the Antiquity ivould always be anxious to reciprocate the elegant hospitality and fraternal feeling which had been so warmly manifested on that occasion . After a very pleasant evening , the Brethren separated about ten o ' olock .

FITZROV LODGE , ( NO . S 30 ) . —The annual installation festival of this military Loclge was held on Friday , Jan . 2 Sth , at tlie headquarters of the Hon . Artillery Company , Finsbury . The Loclge was opened by the AV . M ., Bro . AV . F . Newton , who after the confirmation of the minutes relinquished the chair to Bro . P . Matthews , P . M ., who raised Bro . Adlard , jun . to the degree of M . M . The Lodge being resumed in the second degree , Bro . AV . H . Rough , Captain in Hon . Artillery Company , was presented for installation as AV .
