We dare say there are other worth y brothers in the list , ancl Ave hope this year the whole will be brought up to the same standard .

There is , it will be seen , plenty of room for supplying deficiencies in our list , ancl we shall be glad to have these supplied by our correspondents , ancl errors corrected . We may observe , that there is engineering and architectural science enough in Grand Lodge , for Bro . C . H , Gregory and the engineers of the Britannic Lod gecan furnish a staff to undertake anythingbut

, ; the provinces are not so well supplied , and this is a state of affairs Ave should like to see altered . We are glad to see that the St . John ' s Lodge of Leicester has joined in the praiseAvorthy AA * ork of the Masonic Hall at Leicester , Avhich is to be carried out from the designs of Bro . Millican . A like resolution Avas carried by the Brethren of the John of Gaunt

Lodge , to borroAv a small sum of money to make up the deficiency required to provide for the Hall .

BUFPON ' S SON . —What is your opinion of my son ? said tho naturalist to his friend Rivard . The reply was not very flattering to the youth . I think he is the poorest chapter in your " Natural History . "
