The Master attended the Board , but having omitted to bring with him his warrant and the lodge books , though duly summoned so to do , the Board declined to proceed to investigate the case , but ordered him to attend the next regular meeting of the Board therewith , and charged him meanwhile to be careful to attend the Loclge of Benevolence and support the widow ' s petition . At

the next meeting of the Board the Master acccordingly attended , ancl produced the warrant and books of his lodge , ancl , in reply to the complaint , expressed his great regiet for having neglected his duty by not having attended in support of the Avidow ' s petition , whereby the consideration thereof had been deferred and relief delayed .
