Edward Sheppard should be installed as AA . M . for the ensuing year , the members of the lodge are hereby authorised to elect and install Bro .
Sheppard as AV . M ., notwithstanding he has not filled the office of AVarden in a Mark Master's lodge . This dispensation must be read in open lodge prior to the confirmation of the minutes of the election , and must be entered on the minutes of the lodge . — By command of the M . W . G . , , Overseers , and brethren , concluding with an eloquent speech . Bro . Stebbing proposed that a vote of thanks be given and recorded on the minutes of the lodge to Bro . Binckes for his very great kindness in attending here to-day at great personal inconvenience , and for the very great Masonic treat be had given us by his skill in working the ceremonies of "advancing" and installation . Bro . Naish , Treas ., seconded the proposition , which was put to tho lodge and carried with great acclamation . Bro .
Stebbing invited the W . M . and as many of the brethren of this lodge as could make it convenient to attend at Southampton the next day at his installation as W . M . of tho St . Andrew's Mark Master ' s Lodge , No . 63 . Nine other candidates being proposed for advancement at the next meeting , which will take place on Thursday , the 24 th inst ., the lodge was closed , and the brethren partook of an excellent banquet , provided by Bro . Priddis , and enjoyed a most pleasurable and intellectual evening , separating at high twelve .

The lodge was opened in due form at five o'clock , and Bro . Entwbistle ordered the warrant to be read , as also the document authorising the consecration . The R . AV . M . designate , Bro . Charles Fitzgerald Matier , was then presented and installed in due form . The other brethren named in the
