The soundness of the scheme , as well as the fact of all the directors

being members of the Craft are no doubt reasons why the brethren should insure iu this office ; but an additional inducement for doing so is held out hy the excellent arrangement that a percentage of the new premiums is devoted to the funds of the Masonic charities , each assurer thus becoming indirectly a contributor to one or other of our noble institutions . company already possess by this moans three votes for the Boys ' School . THE BUBGOYNE LODGE ( SO . 902 ) " has been removed to Anderton's Hotel , Fleet-street , where the meetings will be held on tho fourth Mondays in the months of January , "February ! March , May , September , and Novemter .

THE LODGE OF SINCERITY ( NO . 174 ) , formerly held at the Cheshire Cheese , Crutched Friars , is now held at the Guildhall Hotel , Gresham-street . The loclge of instruction attached to the parent loclge will in future be held at the Railway Tavern , Fenchurck-street .

W . M . elect , who answered to the same in good faith . A Board of Installed Masters was then formed , and Bro . E . Gothiel then tonic the chair , and in a very efficient manner installed Bro . J . The usual loyal and Masonic toasts were given and responded to in a manner worthy of the members of this loclge . A P . M . jewel was then presented to Bro . G . Hyde , the I . P . M ., who replied in a very appropriate speech . A vote of thanks was then recorded to Bro . E . Gothiel for the efficient manner in which he installed Bro . Hill as W . M . of this lodge .

The usual formal toasts having been given and duly honoured , Bro . C . L . Marshall , the I . P . M . took the opportunity on that occasion of thanking the brethren of the Neptune Lodge for the kind expressions of sympathy they had conveyed to him on a recent them for the lendid

domestic bereavement , and also to thank sp jewel they had sent to him during his absence , assuring them . that he should always wear it with great pride , as a remembrance of the kind feelings they had shown to him as W . M , of the Neptune Loclge , and he would do all in his power to promote its prosperity . He then in suitable terms proposed tho " Health of BroSalterWM / ' ancl congratulated the lodge on the

PRUDENT BRETHREN LODGE ( NO . 14 a ) . —The first meeting of the season was held at Freemasons' Hall , on Tuesday , Oct . 26 th . Bro . Allenden , W . M ., presided , supported by Bros . Sharko , P . M . ; Boys , P . M . ; States , P . M . ; and a numerous assemblage of brethren ancl visitors . Messrs . J . Hickman and W . H . Sawyer were initiated , and two brethren were raised .
