On Wednesday there was a concert at Buckingham Palace , to which about 700 guests were invited . Tho principal vocal performers were [ Mademoiselle Titiens , Mademoiselle Meyer , Siguori Gardoni and Belletti , and M . Zelgcr . The band and chorus amounted to nearly 200 performers . The Princess Frederick William on Thursday , embarked at Graveseud , ou her return to Prussia , after a visit to England of twelve days . She was accompanied

to Graveseud by the Queen , the Prince Consort , tmd the Princess Alice . Her Majesty and the Prince Consort went on Saturday morning to inspect Mr . Waterer ' s show of rhododendrons , iu the Royal Botanical Gardens . Iu the evening the Queen and the Princess Alice went to the Royal Italian Opera , Covent Garden . The Prince Consort dined with the officers of the Grenadier Guards , at the London Tavern . The Paris Monitcur is half filled with lists of nominations to the Legion of Honour , and grants of the military med . il to the officers and soldiers engaged in the affair of Montebollo , the former numbering 50 , and the latter 70 . The Sardinian General De Sonnaz is created a commander , and six other Sardinian officers
