Communica ' tions should be forwarded so as to reach us as early in the week as convenient—not later than AVednesday if possible . AVe have to request our correspondents to be parcular in writing

The usual course when a secretary seeks advancement , is that some other brother should assume the secretaryship pro tern . For this and other reasons it is advisable that the office of secretary should be held by a brother who has passed the chair , as is tho case in most well regulated , lodges .
