He certainly bids fair to attain a good position in the musical world . Bro . Henri Drayton rendered most effectivoly a scene of his own composition , " The Death of the General . " It was most enthusiastically received , and it well wanted the encomium passed on it . Bro . Angylfi , too sang some excellent songs . A very pleasant evening was spent , and the brethren separated at an early hour in peace and harmony .

CRYSTAL PALACE LODGE ( No . 742 ) . —This lodge met on Thursday , 1 st inst ., at the Crystal Palace , Sydenham . The lodge was opened in due form by the W . M ., Bro . T . Foxall ; Bros .
