M ., to the Past Masters who had assisted iu the ceremony of Installation , and to the officers of the lodge for their services during the past year . The AV . M . gave notice of his intention to propose an alteration in the advancement feesin consequence of the statement made
, by the retiring AA ' . M ., contingently on the change being assented to by the Grand Lodge . The lodge was closed by the new officers about S o'clock , and the brethren adjourned to a banquet presided over by Bro . Benham , AA . M ., who was supported by the i ' . AI . 's , the S . W . taking the vice-chair . A very pleasant evening was spent , and the party separated at ten .

Tho college was then closed , and , tho Knights bolow the Viceroy ' s chair having boon re-admitted , it was rosolvod that tho future assemblies of tho conclave bo hold on tho second Saturday in February , April , May , Octobor , and Dccomber ; and the annual subscription was also fixed . , of general interest . The following resolution was adopted by acclamation : "That this Board accept with great pleasure the valuablecollection presented by Bro . Dr . Hopkins , P . M . It will form , the nucleus of a long projected Masonic library , and it adds another to the many claims Bro . H . Hopkins has on the warm regard of the fraternity . The honour of being the
oriig nator of the library , becomes Bro . Dr . H . Hopkins's , and entitles him to the grateful and lasting thanks not only of the Board " but of all the local lodges .
