His charity did nofc arise , as was the case ivith some men , from fche feeling that it covereth a

multitude of sins , bufc from the kindness of his heart , and the generosity of his mind . He wished they could put ten or twenty years more upon his life , but he was afraid that they never ivould have the happiness of again seeing him at the Provincial Grand Lodge . Owing to his advanced age , he was obliged to to take very great care of his health , and he feared that ifc would not be safe for him to take any active part in the business of the Provincial Grand Lodge .

The A . Prov . G . Master then gave "The Health of Bro . Leedes Fox , the Deputy Provincial Grand Master , " expressing his deep regret that the absence of Bro . Fox was occasioned by severe illness . He coupled with the toast the name of the Prov . G . Secretary . Bro . Morgan said he believed the reason why he had been selected to return thanks to this toast was because he had
