having been opened in the first degree , and the minutes read and confirmed , a lodge of F . C . ' s was opened , and Bros . Elgood and Bryan passed an examination in that degree , after which they retired . The lodge was then opened in tho third degree , and those brethren were duly raised to the sublime degree of M . M . by the AV . M ., assisted by Bro . Brewin . The lodge was then lowered to the first degree , and a gentleman having been proposed as a candidate for iuitiation , it was finally closed iu harmony , and the brethren adjourned to refreshment .
