The cathedral authorities being desirous of decorating the interior of the niches of the recedes , and of gilding the details of the tabernacle work , a coimnunicaliou on the subject was laid before the meding of Provincial Grand Lodge at Slow-oii-on-iho- \ Vo ! d in Mav last , and a committee was appointed to ascertain the views of the brethren of
the province , and to take such action in thy matter as might , seem to them desirable . It was now projio-ed that the decoration of I ho rcredos be carried out in accordance with a plan approved by the committee , at , a cost not exceeding C 3 M . An amendment was proposed practically negativing it . On a vote being taken , the amendment was rejected by a considerable majority , and the original resolution carried .

the province , and to take such action in thy matter as might , seem to them desirable .
