Lorkin . Lodge was opened in due form , and the minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed . Bro . Lorkin offered himself as candidate ; be was interrogated and entrusted . Lodge was opened in the second degree , and the ceremony rehearsed . Bro . Darnell

The ballot was unanimous in his favour . Bro . A . Trewinnard P . M . Kingsland Lodge , No . 1693 , was then exalted , the ceremony being excellently well rendered , Comp . Pearoy on this occasion acting as P . S . The election of Officers for the ensuing

During the recent visit of the M . W . the Grand Master H . R . H . the Prince of Wales to Bradford , Lieut . Colonel Sir Henry Edwards , Bart ., Provincial Grand Master West Yorkshire , read an address from the seven Bradford

Lodges . It was an address of loyal Masonic welcome , and ifc associated the present flourishing condition of the Craft with the Prince ' s Grand Mastership . To this address his Royal Highness handed in the following document : —

Brethren , —I have received with feelings of the deepest satisfaction your loyal and fraternal address , and I can assure you that I am much gratified by the welcome which has been accorded to-day by all classes of tbe inhabitants of Bradford . I sincerely appreciate the compliment which you are good enough to pay rae , as Grand Master

of the Freemasons in England , by your references to the satisfactory condition of the Craft and to the flourishing state of the Charitable and Educational Institutions in connection with the large body of which I am proud to be tbe head . I need hardly assure yon that the interest which I take in Freemasonry continues unabated , and I

shall ever do my best to extend the principles on which it is founded to the utmost of my power . The Princess and I are much tonobed by the kind words in which you mention us , and it affords us both sincere pride and gratification to experience so cordial a reception aa that which we have met with to . day from our fellow-countrymen .

813 , R . W . Goddard , Sincerity , No . 174 . The first business was to elect Comp . R . Pearcy , S . N . of the United Strength Chapter , as a joining member . The ballot was unanimous in his favour . Bro . A . Trewinnard P . M . Kingsland Lodge , No . 1693 , was then exalted , the ceremony being excellently well rendered , Comp . Pearoy on this occasion acting as P . S . The election of Officers for the ensuing

year was then proceeded with , when the following were appointed : Comps . Osborn M . E . Z ., Weston H ., Pearcy J ., Greenfield S . E ., Hoi . lidge S . N ., Bird P . S ., Cogan Treasurer . The Chapter was olosed aud adjourned , and the Companions sat down to a banquet , admirably served by Bro . Baker . The usual Loyal and Maaonio toasts were

given . Comp . Trewinnard , in responding to the toast of the Exaltee , expressed himself much gratified and impressed with the ceremony . Comp . Goddard replied in appropriate terms for the Visitors . An enjoyable and pleasant evening was brought to a close with the Janitor's toast .

During the recent visit of the M . W . the Grand Master H . R . H . the Prince of Wales to Bradford , Lieut . Colonel Sir Henry Edwards , Bart ., Provincial Grand Master West Yorkshire , read an address from the seven Bradford

Lodges . It was an address of loyal Masonic welcome , and ifc associated the present flourishing condition of the Craft with the Prince ' s Grand Mastership . To this address his Royal Highness handed in the following document : —

Brethren , —I have received with feelings of the deepest satisfaction your loyal and fraternal address , and I can assure you that I am much gratified by the welcome which has been accorded to-day by all classes of tbe inhabitants of Bradford . I sincerely appreciate the compliment which you are good enough to pay rae , as Grand Master

of the Freemasons in England , by your references to the satisfactory condition of the Craft and to the flourishing state of the Charitable and Educational Institutions in connection with the large body of which I am proud to be tbe head . I need hardly assure yon that the interest which I take in Freemasonry continues unabated , and I

shall ever do my best to extend the principles on which it is founded to the utmost of my power . The Princess and I are much tonobed by the kind words in which you mention us , and it affords us both sincere pride and gratification to experience so cordial a reception aa that which we have met with to . day from our fellow-countrymen .
