A QUARTERLY Convocation of the Snpreme Grand Chapter will be held at Freemasons' Hall , London , on Wednesday , the 7 th day of May instant , at six o'clock in the evening . The Regulations for the Government of the Supreme Grand Chap , ter during the time of public business to be read .

The Minntea of the lasfc Quarterly Convocation to be read for confirmation . Installation of Principals , and appointment and investiture of

Officers for the ensuing year . The Committee of General Purposes beg to report that they have examined the accounts from the 16 th January 1884 , to the 15 th April 1884 , both inclusive , which they find to be as follows : —

The foregoing petitions being in all respects regnlar , the Committee recommend that fche prayers thereof be respectively granted .

The Committee have a'so received a petition from the Principals and mptnbers of the Royal Albert Chapter , No . 907 , London , praying for a Charter of Confirmation , the original being lost . The Committee recommend that a Charter of Confirmation for this Chapter be granted .

A complaint having been received from the Grand Superintendent of Northumberland against Companion Panl Smith , P . Z . of Chapter No . 24 , Newcastle-on-Tyne , for having wilfully disregarded a sentence of suspension passed on him by the said Grand Superintendent ,

iu having attended a meeting of hia Royal Arch Chapter after receipt of snch sentence , the Committee have summoned Companion Paul Smith to attend Grand Chapter on the 7 th May to answer the charge . Au appeal from the said Companion Paul Smith , P . Z . Chapter 24 ,

From Companions Stephen Barton Wilson as Z ., Charles Belton as H ., Frederick Binckes ns J ., and seven others for a Chapter to be attached to the Royal Naval Lrdge , No . 59 , London , to be called the Royal Naval Chapter , and to meet afc Freemasons' Hall . The foregoing petitions being in all respects regnlar , the Committee recommend that fche prayers thereof be respectively granted .

The Committee have a'so received a petition from the Principals and mptnbers of the Royal Albert Chapter , No . 907 , London , praying for a Charter of Confirmation , the original being lost . The Committee recommend that a Charter of Confirmation for this Chapter be granted .

A complaint having been received from the Grand Superintendent of Northumberland against Companion Panl Smith , P . Z . of Chapter No . 24 , Newcastle-on-Tyne , for having wilfully disregarded a sentence of suspension passed on him by the said Grand Superintendent ,

iu having attended a meeting of hia Royal Arch Chapter after receipt of snch sentence , the Committee have summoned Companion Paul Smith to attend Grand Chapter on the 7 th May to answer the charge . Au appeal from the said Companion Paul Smith , P . Z . Chapter 24 ,
