ONE of tho most interesting meetings of the year took place within tho Royal Naval College , Greenwich , on tho 22 nd u ^* , when a goodly number of eminent brethren assembled * the purpose of consecrating the above Lodgo . M ., in terms which elicited the warmest enthusiasm , and " Our Hercules , " in his response for Grand Lodge Officers , took the opportunity to enlarge upon the merits of our Charitable Institutions , and by his open , honest and candid declarations , succeeded in cementing more firmly
the ties of friendship , which the founders of this Lodge havo so loug held towards him . Upon the toast of tho Consecrating and Installing Officer being given , which was received with vociferous cheering , tho W . M . thanked our Rev . Brother , on behalf of tho Lodge , for the inestimable service he had rendered in the day ' s proceedings . Bro . Robinson briefly responded , assuring the brethren that the
pleasuro was equally great to him , inasmuch that the founding brethren were bound to make the Lodgo an unprecedented success . Ho desired , before sitting down , to propose tho toast of the W . M ., a brother whose talent had won for him great honours . Not only had ho distinguished himself at the University of Cambridge , but as a Mason-he had made his " Mark , " and all wished him health to continue the
