Poynter , who upon rising was greeted with applause , thanked the brethren , both on behalf of himself individually , for tho kindness ho alwuys received when ha camo amongst thorn , on behalf of tho Lodge 01-8 , cf which he is tho present Master , for the post of honour they had acceded to him in the Lodgo ( hat afternoon , and on behalf of tho
T - 'ovince of Berks and Bucks , which ho represented . Ho remarked -hat Sir Daniel Gooch Prov . G . M ., aud the Eev . J . Ktudhobn Brownrigg D . P . G . M ., were good men aud true Masons . They h : id tho good of Freemasonry at heart , and worked hard to further tho interests of the Lodges wbu-h wero under their supervision , and they dispensed honours to the diHeront Lodges in tho province without fear or favour .
