PROSPERITY LODGE , No . 65 .

THAT this popular Lodge well deserves its title , and maintains the prestige it has gained in past years , was amply evidenced on Thursday night , tbo 28 th ultimo , at the first meeting after tbe summer rpcess , when the esteemed Wor . Master , Brother J . Roberts , was met . by a numerous gathering of the brethren and visitors at the Guildhall Tavern , Gresham-street . There is a soundness and vitality anout this Lodge which ia positively encoviv & avng , and ifc is no

empty compliment to say that the whole of its proceedings are de . serving of imitation by every section of tbe Fraternity . Lodge -was opened in accordance with ancient rites soon after five o ' clock , when the WoTshipfnl Master was supported by Bros . G- Sohadler S . W ,, Chnrles J . Eich J . W ., G . T . Brown P . M .
