Tho Eleanor Cross was actuated by but one feeling—that of regard—towards their sisters . He hoped they wonld always merit the good opinion of the other Lodges of the Province . Bro . Wood W . as she conld hatch such chickens as the Eleanor Cross he should be proud of his connection with it . To drink the health of the Pomfret members in the Eleanor Cross Lodge really seemed to be drinking one's own health . The Tyler ' s toast was then given , and tho proceedings terminated . We think we cannot do better than close this notice with the words that Bro . Atkins tho W . M . selected to place at the end of the toast list : —
"Dear brethren of the mystic tie , the night is waning fast , Our duty ' s done , our feast is o'er , these words must be our last ; Good night , good night ; once more , onco moro , repeat the fare well strain , Happy to meet , sorry to part , happy to meet again .
