The minutes being read and confirmed , apologies were received from the M . E . Z . Comp . Stacey , Douglass , Holt , and two of the intending Exaltees . Bro . Field was impressively exalted to the supreme degree of the R . A ., and several

names having been announced for balloting at ensuing meeting , the Convocation was closed in due form with solemn prayer . The Companions afterwards partook of supper , and a very pleasant evening was spent . W . Bro . J . Scales , W . M . of the Parent Lodge , was to havo been exalted , but weighty reasons prevented his being present at this meeting , to his regret .
