Tho

Ecclesiastical Pees Redistribution Bill passed through Committee , and other measures were advanced a stage . On Monday , Lord Carlingford put a question relative to National Education in Ireland , to which , the Duke of Richmond replied . On the report of amendments on the

Sale of Food and Drugs' Bill , a discussion arose on certain of the clauses , but , in the end , the report was agreed to . On Tuesday , the House went into Committee on the Public Health Bill , which passed this stage after a brief debate . On Thursday , Earl Beauchamp moved the second reading

of the Friendly Societies Bill , which was agreed to after a brief discussion , Lord Aberdare and the Earl of Morley being the principal speakers . The Marquis of Salisbury

having replied to a question of Viscount Midleton respecting the Uncovenanted Civil Servants in India , and other business having been disposed of , the House adjourned .
