PROV . GRAND LODGE OF SUFFOLK .

TpHB annual Provincial Grand meeting of Snffolk was JL held on Friday , 7 th inst ., at Thornham Hall , the scat , and under tho banner of tho Big ht Hon . Lord Henniker P . G . S . W . ( Eng . ) , the Right Worahipful Prov . Grand Master . The day was fine , and a large nnmber of brethren embraced

tho opportunity to viait the Provincial Graud Master ' s p icturesque domain , and for whicb tho Great Eastern Railway Company offered , with their usnal courtesy , every facility , making reduced fares , and running a special train both morning and evening for tho accommodation of the

brethren from Ipswich to Mollis , where vehicles were provided for conveyance from the station to Thornham Hall . Tho large hall was improvised as a Lodge-room , and at one o ' clock the brethren ranged themselves under their respective banners , and shortly afterwards the R . W . Prov .

Grand Master , accompanied by Grand and Provincial Graud Officers , entered the Hall in procession and opened the Lodge in duo form . The visitors included Lord Brooke , M . P ., R . W . P . G . M . The Provincial Grand Secretary read the report of tbe Board of General Purposes , which congratulated the Province on the great improvement in its prospects . There bad been 70 initiations and 41 joinings during tho year , against loss from deaths and resignations 44 . Tho

total membership of the Province was now 960 . Tho finances wero also in a satisfactory state , showing a balance of £ 95 6 s . The report was unanimously adopted .

The Provincial Grand Secretary read the report of tbe Board of General Purposes , which congratulated the Province on the great improvement in its prospects . There bad been 70 initiations and 41 joinings during tho year , against loss from deaths and resignations 44 . Tho

total membership of the Province was now 960 . Tho finances wero also in a satisfactory state , showing a balance of £ 95 6 s . The report was unanimously adopted .
