WE acknowledge with thanks two statements of account , for the years 1875 and 1876 respectively , of tho Masonic Hall , Liverpool , of which our esteemed Brother J . R . Goepel is the Treasurer . As regards the former year , it will suffice if we state that the balance on the General Account was £ 7 4 s ljd j that on the Building Fund the expenditure amounted to £ 216 14 s lOd ; while the receipts ,

We deal more fully with the accounts for the year 1876 , the Balance Sheet for which exhibits the following

The expenditure amounted to £ 769 9 s 7 ^ d , the

The Furnishing Fund balances exactly , the Receipts , including cash in bank £ 52 10 s , and the expenses being £ 75 16 s . The outstanding debt 3 of the Hall amount to £ 201 Is 4 d , and there is a mortgage on the property of £ 2 , 500 , for which interest is payable

at the rate of £ 4 per cent . It is worthy of note that the rents , which form the bulk of tho receipts , are paid by twenty-one Lodges , eleven Chapters , sundry Chapters , Preceptories , Conclaves , and the Weafc Lancashire Mark Lodge , and nine Lodges of Instruction , irrespective of occasional rents from P .
