The London Masonic Club Lodge of Instruction , Wo . 58 . —A meeting was held on Monday , the 15 th inst ., at tha Club , 101 Queen Victoria Street , City . There was a good attendance , the following brethren filling tho Offices : —Bros . Chapman W . M ., J . S . Fraser S . W ., Bookman J . W ., Beoton J . D ., J . B . King I . G ., Pulsford Preceptor . The Lodge having been opened , the minntes of

last meeting were read and counrmed . The initiation ceremony was rehearsed , Bro . llayncs acting ? as candidate . Bro . Sraallpeice proposed an addition to the bye-laws , viz ., " That a feo of 6 d bo imposed on brethren visiting the Lodge . " This was seconded by Bro . Fraser , and carried nnanimonsly . Bros . Bookman and King wore unanimously clocted members of this Lodge of Instruction . After the election of Bro . Frasor as W . M . for tho next meeting , the Lodgo was closed .

High Cross Lodge of Instruction . —At the Coach and Horses , Tottenham , on Thursday , 18 th December . Present—Bros . Evordell W . M ., Pooro S . W ., Fidler J . W .. Young S . D ., Leaman J . D ., Dickerson I . G ., Thompson Preceptor , Garrod Secretary ; also Bros . Oxley , Taverner , Eooche , Tegg , Mattocks , & c . Tho Lodge having been

duly opened and the minutes of last meeting read and confirmed , the ceremonies of initiation and raising were rehearsed . It was resolved that , in consequence of Christmas Day and New Year ' s Day falling on Thursdays , tho Lodge bo adjourned nntil Thursday , 8 th January , on which occasion Bro . Pooro will occupy the chair . The Lodge waa olosed in peace and harmony .

Lodge was opened in due form ; the minutes of last meeting wero read and confirmed . The Lodge was opened in the secoud degree . Bro . C . Lorkin offered himself as a candidate for tho third degree , and was interrogated and entrusted . Lodge waa opened in tho third , and Bro . C . Lorkin was raised to the sublime degree of Master

Mason . The Lodge was closed in the third degree , and called from labour to refreshment ; after resuming , Bro . Clark worked the second and Bro . C . Lorkin the fourth section of tho second lectnre , assisted by tho brethren . Bro . Greenwood was elected W . M . for the ensuing week . Bro . Smith was elected a member . Nothing further offering , Lodgo was closed in due form , and adjourned .

Upton Lodge of Instruction , No . 1227 . —A meeting was held at the King aud Queen , Norton Folgate , E . C , on Thursday , 18 th Decembor . Bros . II . A . Wallbreoht W . M ., Hine S . W ., Patrick J . W ., D . Moss S . D ., Legg J . D ., Fenner Preceptor , Gioseke I . G . ; also Bros . Gimingham , Lane , and others . The Lodgo was opened in due form , and the minutes were read and confirmed . Bro . II . A . Wallbrccht vacated the chair in favour of Bro . Fenner . Lodge was opened in tho

second degree . Bro . Gimingham answered tho questions leading to the third doctrce , and tho ceremony of raising was rehearsed . Lodge was resumed , and Bro . Fenner worked tho second and third sections of the lectnre , assisted by the brethren . Bro . Gimingham , of the Eleanor Lodge , No . 1707 , was elected a member of this Lodgo of Instruction . Bro . Hino was appointed to preside at the meeting , Tho Lodge was adjourned till the 2 nd Thursday in January 1880 .

St . John S Lodge , 1247 . —At a meeting of this Lodge , W . Bro . G . Firks presiding , Bro . Byron Elliot was unanimously elected as Master , W . Bro . John E . Lord as Treasurer , and W . Bro . J . Kendlo as Representative on the Committee of Petitions . The banquet will bo held at the Farley Hotel , and ladies are to be invited to attend .

M . for the next meeting having been elected , tho Lodge was closed in due form with solemn prayer .

The London Masonic Club Lodge of Instruction , Wo . 58 . —A meeting was held on Monday , the 15 th inst ., at tha Club , 101 Queen Victoria Street , City . There was a good attendance , the following brethren filling tho Offices : —Bros . Chapman W . M ., J . S . Fraser S . W ., Bookman J . W ., Beoton J . D ., J . B . King I . G ., Pulsford Preceptor . The Lodge having been opened , the minntes of

last meeting were read and counrmed . The initiation ceremony was rehearsed , Bro . llayncs acting ? as candidate . Bro . Sraallpeice proposed an addition to the bye-laws , viz ., " That a feo of 6 d bo imposed on brethren visiting the Lodge . " This was seconded by Bro . Fraser , and carried nnanimonsly . Bros . Bookman and King wore unanimously clocted members of this Lodge of Instruction . After the election of Bro . Frasor as W . M . for tho next meeting , the Lodgo was closed .

second degree . Bro . Gimingham answered tho questions leading to the third doctrce , and tho ceremony of raising was rehearsed . Lodge was resumed , and Bro . Fenner worked tho second and third sections of the lectnre , assisted by the brethren . Bro . Gimingham , of the Eleanor Lodge , No . 1707 , was elected a member of this Lodgo of Instruction . Bro . Hino was appointed to preside at the meeting , Tho Lodge was adjourned till the 2 nd Thursday in January 1880 .
