not a hitch occurred to mar the proceedings , not even though the number of guests was close on 700 . The arrangements were as near perfection as possible ancl were carried out in the most satisfactory manner , leaving the

impression that the Stewards did quite rig ht in selecting the Crystal Palace as their meeting place . We can only hope that many such gatherings will be celebrated in the future , and that each may prove as satisfactory as this has done .

We append a full List of the Stewards who served on this memorable occasion , with the amounts accredited to each up to the time of our going to press .
