Bickley , which being nnanimonsly in their favour , they were duly initiated into the Order . Both the ceremonies were perfectly rendered . Bro . J . J . Michael P . M . and Treas . proposed , and Bro . W . M . Stiles P . M . seconded , thafc in future the fee for visiting brethren attending tho installation

banquet be raised to 15 s . This was carried unanimously . Hearty good . wishes were given , ancl the W . M . expressed his pleasure at seeing the brethren after a lapse of seven months ; he further informed the members he had taken to the Boys' Festival the sum of £ 50 , an amount he thought creditable to so young a Lodge ., Bro . Stiles having presented the Lodge with a very eloganfc album , the W . Bro . Seymour Smith ' s annual benefit concert took place on Saturday , 16 th inst ., at the City of London College , on which occasion the friends of our esteemed brother assembled iu force to show their

appreciation ot his talent . Ihe songs were of a first-rate character , and the programme was well sustained throughout . We hope that ; Bro . Smith may livo for many years to come , ancl that , as time goes round , we may have tho pleasure of assisting at many other such meetings as that given on Saturday , —a well deserved compliment to a truly genial man and brother .
