past Provincial Grand Officers and other members of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Leicestershire and Rutland , in open Lodge assembled , beg leave to offer through yon , Most Worshipful Grand Master , to all the members of the Royal Family , the expression of our profound regret and tender sympathy in this season of bereavement . To Her Most Gracious Majesty the Queen , we beg you , Sir , to
present our loyal homage , and to assure Her Majesty that in our several homes is deeply felt the shadow of the irreparable loss caused by the decease of her son , and that at such a time as this the heart of England beats in union with her own . After making appropriate allusion to the interest evinced by the late Prince Leopold in all Masonic matters , and to tbe admirable manner in which His Royal Highness had fulfilled tho many great and onerous dnties of his high rank and distinguished position , and particularly to the eminent manner in which he cultivated and encouraged tbe liberal arts and sciences , tho Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master concluded by proposing that the
address shonld be adopted and presented to His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales Most Worshipful Grand Master . Bro .
