M . waa capable of fulfilling the duties of the Lodge . Personally , he ( the speaker ) was indebted for his visit , not only on this , but on other occasions , to Bro . J . Bovd , whose working , both in Craft and Arch
Masonry , and for the Charities , was so well known and appreciated . He had listened with interest to the remarks made in the Lodsre as to recognising the services of the late Bro . Little , and he was pleased to say that the Gihon Lodge , of which he was a P . M ., had given a notice of motion that a snm of £ 5 5 s shonld be voted for the same purpose ; ho hoped every Lodge would follow this example .
After a few remarks from Bro . Brooks , Bro . H . Dicketts P . M . P . G . S . gave the Past Masters of the Lodge . To them was due the success of the Lodge . Bros . Boyd , Thiellay and T . Bull have done their duty in every sense of the word . Bennett were passed to the second degree . Messrs . Cheek , Zumpf and other candidates wero duly initiated into tho mysteries of Freemasonry . The Worshipful Master Bro . J . Willing jnn . was re-elected as W . M . for the ensuing year , and Bro . P . M . Treadwell Treasurer . The Lodge was closed in due form . The brethren then adjourned to a most excellent banquet , and spent au exceedingly pleasant evening .
