charge in a very creditable manner . This brother also worked tho 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd sections of the lecture . Bro . Clark was elected W . M . for next week . A vote of thanks was recorded on the minntes for the able manner in which Bro . Jones W . M . worked the ceremony of initiation , for the first time . Bro . Gray P . M ., the chair was taken by Bro . J . W . BiOoke P . M ., and there were present Bros . Linscott S . W ., Nicod J . W ., Bellis Secretary , Burnett S . D ., Powles J . D ., Marcus I . Gnrney were passed to the second degree and Messrs . Wimblo and Dean were duly initiated into the mysteries of Freemasonry . Two gentleman were proposed for initiation , and Bro .
