— : oi—THE Quarterly Communication of Grand Lodge of Mark Mastor Masons will bo held on Tuesday next , when , after the confirmation of tho minutes , the Report of tho General Board will bo received . This Report , which deals with tho first qnarter of the present year , states that
dnring tho three months 471 Mark certificates wero issued , bringing the total number of registrations up to 28 , 110 . Warrants for tivo new Lodges wero granted during tho same period , viz .: No . 420 , Frontier , Peshawar , Bengal ; and No . 4 S 0 , Charity , Birmingham . The Royal Ark
Manners show an increase of 02 members durinf tlio quarter , bringing the total number of certificates issued up to 3278 . Three new Ark Mariner Lodges have boon

Two brethren having been irregularly eleoted joining members of Lodge No . 401 , on the day of Consecration , contrary to Article 136 , which provides that every candidate for joining member of a Lodge shall be proposed at a regular meeting and balloted for at the next regular meeting after his name has appeared in the summons calling
suoh meeting . The Board ruled that the so-called eleotion was null and void , and that the names of the candidates must be plaoed on tho summons for the next regular meeting of the Lodge , and the decision of the brethren ascertained by ballot . The Board find that meeting at four o ' olock , as enjoined by
Artiole 159 , is inconvenient to the majority of its members , and wonld , therefore , recommend to Grand Lodge that the words " Five o ' clock" be substituted for " Four o ' clock , " and that the Constitutions bo altered accordingly . The Board regret to say that subscriptions to the Portal Memorial
Organ Fund are coming in very slowly , and would ask the Masters of those Lodges who have not already subscribed to again bring the matter before their respective Lodges . Tho Board acknowledge , with thanks , reports of Proceedings of tho Grand Chapter of Colorado .
