Thompson , Chandler , Campbell , Gibbs , & c . Present ancl Past Grand Officers , and several Present ancl Past Principals of Private Chapters . y The minutes of the last Quarterly Convocation were read and confirmed , Tbe statement of the account of the funds ancl Grand Chapter with Comp . the G . T . was made hy G . S . E ., by which it appeared that 1200 / . had been invested in the public funds , being a balance in the hands of the G . T . of 153 / . 4 s . Upon the motion of Comp . John Savage , the following resolution
was unanimously approved : —• " That the sum of Thirty-five Pounds be paid annually , out of the Funds of the Grand Chapter , to tlie Fund established by Grand Lotlge for granting Annuities to the Widows of worthy Freemasons ; and that , in consideration of such Grant , the First Principal of every Royal Arch Chapter shall be entitled to One Vote at each Election of au Annuitant , provided the Chapter shall have made its Returns ( audpayments , if any due thereon ) to the Grand Chapter for the preceding year . "
It was observed that the interest of the sum invested , viz ., 1200 / ., would , singularly enough , pay this Grant , leaving 1 ? . for the liquidation of the property and income tax . Wo other business being before tho Chapter , it was then closed , and adjourned to May 1 st .
