commendable qualities : Institution , Silence , Abstinence , and Fortitude , Temperance , Sagacity . Institution was then explained by the new triad of Wisdom , Magnanimity , Fortitude . The system of silence was quinquennial ; and the neophyte was enjoined to repeat this verse mentally , morning and evening : —
