The Grand Secretary then produced a brass plate , measuring twenty-four inches by sixteen inches , healing the following inscription , which he read : — " This foundation-stone of St . George ' s Hall , Bradford , Yorkshire , was laid by the Bight Honourable the Earl of Zetland , the Most Worshipful Grand Master of the Freemasons of . England , on Monday , the 2 j 3 nd day of September , in the 15 th year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria ,
