REFUGES and HOMES for the DESTITUTE and NEGLECTED . —The Council ol ( he REFORMATORY and REFUGE UNION earnestly APPEAL for AID , to enable them to renew their winter grants to thc various Refuges and Homes for thc outcast , destitute , and homeless , to the same amount as in former years . Last winter they received £ 2 , 000 in answer to their appeal , and were thus enabled to give most seasonable help to 38 different institutions , situate in all parts cf thc kingdom , providing accomodation for upwards of 2 , 600 boys and gills , all of whom are lodged , fed , clothed , educated , and taught some useful occupation , by which to cam their own living . No grant is made until after the Institution has been carefully inspected and fully reported upon by a member of the Council , and its management approved . REFUGES and HOMES for the DESTITUTE and NEGLECTED . —The Council ol ( he REFORMATORY and REFUGE UNION earnestly APPEAL for AID , to enable them to renew their winter grants to thc various Refuges and Homes for thc outcast , destitute , and homeless , to the same amount as in former years . Last winter they received £ 2 , 000 in answer to their appeal , and were thus enabled to give most seasonable help to 38 different institutions , situate in all parts cf thc kingdom , providing accomodation for upwards of 2 , 600 boys and gills , all of whom are lodged , fed , clothed , educated , and taught some useful occupation , by which to cam their own living . No grant is made until after the Institution has been carefully inspected and fully reported upon by a member of the Council , and its management approved .
