The new Regent Lodge was consecrated on the 22 nd ult . at the Drill Hall , Barnsley , by the Dep . Prov . G . Master , Bro . Richard Wilson , P . G . D . Eng . There was a large attendance of local and visiting brethren . After the ceremony , the new W . M ., Bro . Wm . Senior , was installed by the Dep . Prov . G . ETHICAL LODGE , No . 204 s . On Thursday , the 24 th ult ., Bro . Robert Manuel , Preceptor of the Logic Club , paid a visit to to the Ethical Lodge of Instruction ( which meets under the sanction of the Wharton Lodge , No . 2045 ) , at their lodge rooms at the Hotel Great Central , with an excellent team of brethren from the Club , to rehearse one of the usual ceremonies . The work of each individual officer throughout was of so high a standard that it would b : difficult to imagine anything more perfect . The power and eloquence of the W . M . was particularly noticeable in the rendering of the charge after initiation . Before the lodge was closed , the Preceptor of the Ethical Lod ^ e ot Instru : tirm , B-o . Dr . Achird , expressed in feeling terms the gratitude of the members to Bro . Manuel and the members of the

Logic Club for visiting them that evening , and propose 1 that a cordial vote of thanks to them be entered upon the lodge minutes . This was unanimously adopted , and eloquently responded to by Bro . Manuel . Subsequently Bros . Albert Neville , Harry Nicholls , and R . G . Robinson were elected hon . members of the lodge of instruction , which honour each of the brethren acknowledged in appropriate term ; . Thee being no further business , the lodge was closed .

Robert Manuel , Preceptor of the Logic Club , paid a visit to to the Ethical Lodge of Instruction ( which meets under the sanction of the Wharton Lodge , No . 2045 ) , at their lodge rooms at the Hotel Great Central , with an excellent team of brethren from the Club , to rehearse one of the usual ceremonies . The lodge was opened , and the ceremony of initiation rehearsed . The work of each individual officer throughout was of so high a standard that it would b : difficult to imagine anything more perfect . The power and eloquence of the W . M . was particularly noticeable in the rendering of the charge after initiation . Before the lodge was closed , the Preceptor of the Ethical Lod ^ e ot Instru : tirm , B-o . Dr . Achird , expressed in feeling terms the gratitude of the members to Bro . Manuel and the members of the

Logic Club for visiting them that evening , and propose 1 that a cordial vote of thanks to them be entered upon the lodge minutes . This was unanimously adopted , and eloquently responded to by Bro . Manuel . Subsequently Bros . Albert Neville , Harry Nicholls , and R . G . Robinson were elected hon . members of the lodge of instruction , which honour each of the brethren acknowledged in appropriate term ; . Thee being no further business , the lodge was closed .
