The will of the late R . W . Bro . Sir Watkin Williams Wynn , Bart ., M . P ., P . G . M .. North Wales and Salop , has been proved , the value of the personalty being sworn at over £ 105 , 000 .

Advices from Inverness are to the effect that the health of Bros Lord Randolph Churchill , M . The following dinners took place at the Freemasons' Tavern for the week ending the 3 rd inst .: — Thursday—University College Dinner . Friday—Royal Kensington Lodge and Thistle Lodge . Saturday—Phcenix Chapter .

Very considerable alterations and additions are in course of being made at the Prince of Wales's London residence , Marlborough House , and it is not expected that the work will be completed before December . Over a hundred workmen have been employed there for several weeks past .

We regret to announce that the health of R . W . Bro . Lord De Tabley , P . G . M . For this reason he was unable to be present at the annual meeting , on Wednesday , the 23 rd ult ., of the Prov . G . Lodge of Cheshire .

The festival of the Charitable Society calling itself " Ye Antiente Fraternitie of Ye Rahere Almoners , " and which is to be held at Cannon-street Hotel , on the 22 nd inst ., under the presidency of Bro . the Lord Mayor , is , we hear , likely to be something to be talked about . The fraternitie has already a reputation for carrying out its entertainments thoroughly and successfully , and it is said

such reputation may be considerably enhanced by the forthcoming festival . A quaint Old English Pageant is announced in connection vvith the banquet , and , as on a former occasion , we believe In 18 S 2 , when the "brynging inne of ye Boar ' s Head " before the Lord Mayor then presiding , Bro .

Sir John Whittaker Ellis , was so well received , will doubtless prove a most attractive feature in the entertainment . The success of the festival , whicli has the further patronage of ' the Sheriffs , Aldermen and members of the Corporation who will be present , is already assured by the early demand which has been made for places at the banquet table .

The presentation , which took place in the drawing-room , was made by Bro . Sir Archibald Campbell , G . M ., in a most appropriate speech , and the artist , Bro . affixed to it a gold plate , vvith the inscription , " Presented by the Grand Lodge of Scotland to the Countess of Mar and Kellie . September , 1 S 85 . " Her ladyship expressed her thanks for the gift , and the company adjourned . Subsequently a Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire was held in the Masonic Hall , George-street , for the purpose of installing the Earl of Mar and Kellie as Prov . Grand

Master , and the ceremony having been carried out in accordance with usage , Prov . G . Lodge and a large number of brethren were entertained at luncheon at Alloa House by his lordship , and several toasts , including those of "Sir Archibald Campbell , Bart ., G . M . of Scotland , " and " The Earl of Mar and Kellie , " were proposed and honoured enthusiastically .

HOIXOWAY ' OINTMENT AND PILI - . —Unwholesome Changes . —

The changeable weather is causing much sickness , and exerting the most powerful influence in deranging the secretions of the body . Alternating chills and heats so derange the capillary circulation , that skin , liver , stomach , or Kings must become disordered . Hollo , way ' s Ointment , well rubbed over these organs twice a day , proves the quickest , safest , and best corrective . It penetrates the their bloodcleanses

skin , enters the deeper structures , purities , their substance , equalises their circulation , and renders the secretions abundant without annoying , irritating , or exhausting them . This Ointment , persevcringly used , aided by occasional doses of tlieir far famed Pills , is capable of removing all the formidable evils induced by variable weather and its attendant impurities . — [ ADVT . ]

Masonic And General Tidings

On Friday , the 23 rd ult ., Bro . the Lord Mayor will entertain the Senate of the University of London at a dinner at the Mansion House . His lordship is a graduate of the University .

P ., has very materially improved , his lordship having almost entirely recovered from his recent severe indisposition .

G . M . Cheshire , still causes very considerable anxiety , and that his lordship continues in a very prostrate condition at his seat , Tabley Hall . For this reason he was unable to be present at the annual meeting , on Wednesday , the 23 rd ult ., of the Prov . G . Lodge of Cheshire .

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Northumberland and Durham was held on Wednesday last , at Alnwick , under the presidency of Bro . the Rev . Girls . Bro . J . Y . Strachan was reappointed Deputy Provincial Grand Master ; Bro . Adam Robertson was appointed Provincial Grand Senior Warden ; Bro . David ' Sinclair , Provincial Grand Junior Warden ; Bro . Robert Hudson , Provincial Grand Master Overseer ; and Bro . John Starker Wilson , Provincial Grand Secretary .
