OVERWORK , WORRY , AND COLLAPSE .

TRULY ALARMING . THE LANCET writes : — "Rarely a -week passes without some signal collapse in the ranks of our foremost men . — Loss of Rest , Depression , Debility , and General Flagging of the Vital Forces , invariably precede these breakdowns

, which are so Alarmingly Prevalent among all classes of the community . Onemangocs dentin Paralysed ; another goes down with Softening ofthe Brain ; another goes down with Kidney or Bright ' s Disease . Such are the results of wasting the substance that lies in the Brain and Nervous System , which is their very self—the vital

parts of every human being . It is the whole capital of a man's life ; when he has squandered that , he is beggared and bankrupt beyond all description . Tlie Habits , Occupation , incessant Worry , late Hours , the vices and unnatural modes of living , which seem to follow civilisation , have the effect of depleting thc human system of its

necessary supply of Phosphorus , viz ., Life Power . The more immediate results are thc loss of appetite , nausea , heartburn , flatulence , dizziness , sick headaches , failure of physical and mental vigour , sleeplessness , distressing sense of weight and fulness in thc stomach , all of which are known as Dyspepsia and Liver Complaints .
