' £ 200 has already been received , as is shown b y the list which is published herewith , and an appeal will be made to the Board of Benevolence for a Grant . The Committee feel sure that many fiiends and acquaintances of the deceased have not as yet responded to the personal appeal sent to them , and while thanking those who have already so liberally subscribed , confidently hope that those who have not alread y done so , will send their subscriptions to thc Treasurer as soon as possible .
