The Quarterly Convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter was held on Wednesday , but—as will be seen from the report which appears elsewhere of the proceedings—nothing of exceptional interest took p lace . It will doubtless have been noted from the Agenda we published last week , that of the five

petitions for new chapters which were recommended b y the Committee , two were chapters to be attached to lodges in London ; two in the Provinces , one being in Essex and one in Hants and the Isle of Wight ; and one in Queensland . « # #

Wc call the attention of our readers to the report we [ publish elsewhere of a combined installation of the Worshipful Masters of no less than seven of the lodges meeting in and near Adelaide , South Australia , It appears to have been the third occasion on which the ceremony has been thus performed , there having been eight Worshipful Masters installed at one meeting

in 1 S 93 , and five the year following . Whatever may be our opinion as to the desirability of thus installing Worshi pful Masters in batches or groups , there appears to be little or no reason to doubt that everything was done in order , especially as Bro . the Hon , Chief Justice Way , M . W . G . M . of South Australia , was present . We shall probably take occasion to offer : some remarks on the meeting in a future issue .
