Statham Stewards . A very interesting part of the Agenda then occupied the attention of the brethren , a presentation to the I . P . M . Bro . S . S . Partridge . The AV . AL , in making the presentation , said , nothing could give him greater pleasure than to perform the duty assigned to him on
that occasion . Bro . Partridge in vacating the chair , carried with him the good wishes and esteem of every member of the leielge . During his Alastership he has performed the onerous duties incumbent upon him , zealously , and faithfully , and in testimony of that fact , and in
appreciation of his eminent services , the AV . AL , in the name of the brethren , had much pleasure in presenting him with a handsome Past Alasters ' Jewel , and hoped he would be long spared to wear the decoration . Bro . Partridge , in reply , after expressing his thanks , saitl , that until
shortly before leaving the chair , he had not the slightest expectation of receiving such a ihandsome present from them . He would ever prize it as a mark of their kintl regard , and as a reminder of that measure of pleasure he had enjoyed during the jieriod of his Alastership . He
hoped that Bro . AVeare would be favoured with the same support from his officers which he hael received , and assured the brethren that his own zeal and interest in the lodge would not abate , neither woulel his attendance be less frequent , although he now occupied the honourable position of a Past Alaster . The banquet which followed ,

On Thursday , the 3 rd inst ., a new Lodge of Freemasons , designated the Lodge of Fraternity , No . 14 . rS , was consecrated at the Freemasons ' Hall , AVellington-street , Stockton , by John Fawcett , Est ] ., the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Alaster for Durham , under very auspicious
circumstances . A little befoietwo o ' clock the brethren began to assemble , and having taken their places in the lodge , the R . W . P . G . M . entered , took the chair , and opened the lodge—Brother A . Knowles officiating as S . W ., Bro . AV . AI . AVatson as J . AV . Amongst the brethren present

CONSECRATION OF THE LODGE OF FRATERNITY AT STOCKTONON-TEES .
On Thursday , the 3 rd inst ., a new Lodge of Freemasons , designated the Lodge of Fraternity , No . 14 . rS , was consecrated at the Freemasons ' Hall , AVellington-street , Stockton , by John Fawcett , Est ] ., the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Alaster for Durham , under very auspicious
circumstances . A little befoietwo o ' clock the brethren began to assemble , and having taken their places in the lodge , the R . W . P . G . 1 he ceremony of consecration was performed in a very impressive manner , and in the course of the proceedings the P . G . Chaplain delivered an excellent oration , in which he briefly glanced at the history of Freemasonry in this country , and then impressed upem all present the important
obligations under which they lay in carrying out the duties inculcated in the principles of the Craft . At the close of the consecration ceremony Bro . John Henry Jackson , P . AI . ( 940 ) , and P . P . S . G . D ., was dul y installed AVorshipful Alaster of the Lodge . The AV . AI . then

Ihe remainder ol the business being disposed eif , the R . AV . Prov . G . AL expressed the great gratification it afforded him lo be present to consecrate that Leielge , and was of opinion that it woulel be a source of strength to the other
two Lodges . He then expressed llis high sense of appreciation of the admirable manner in which he had been assisted by the various officers who had tiken part in the proceedings of the day , anil concluded by wishing the new Lodge prosperity .
