HOLLOWAY ' PILLS . —Though good health is preferable to high honour , how regardless people often are of the former—how covetous of the latter ! Many suffer their strength to drain away ere maturity is reached , through ignorance of the facility afforded by these incomparable Pills of checking the first untoward symptoms of derangement , and reinstating order without

interfering in the least with their pleasure or pu-suits . To theyoung especially it is important to maintain the highest digestive efficiency , without which the growth is stunted , the muscles become lax , tlie frame feeble , and the mind slothful . The removal of indigestion by these Pills is so easy that none save the most thoughtless would permit it to sap thc spring of life .

In making the gift the VV . M . referred in respectful terms to the ancient and tattered banner now possessed by the lodge , and added that the

arms of the Duke had only been ascertained after considerable research , in which valuable aid had been rendered by the Rev . G . W . Minns and Mr . B . W . Greenfield , and the heraldry on the new banner had been vouched for as correct by the Garter King at Arms . On the motion of Bro . T . P . Payne , seconded by Bro . J . P . Thomas , two Senior Past Masters of the lodge , a cordial vote of thanks was passed to the W . M . for his handsome gift *

Mr . Spencer made another miss . Then the major ran out .
