YORK . —Eboracum Lodge ( No . 1611 ) . —At the installation meeting of this lodge , held on the Sth inst ., a valuable presentation was made b y Bro . Frank Smith , P . M . S 37 , in the shape of an engraving , somewhat rare , in a perfect state , representing a view of the city of York , taken in 1740 by Nathan Drake , from the New Walk on the side of the river Ouse . The chief Masonic interest of this engraving , which was executed by Grigium , is found in the

fact that the New Walk was laid out and planted in 1 S 30 by Bro . John Marsden , a member of the Grand Lodge of All England at Yoik , who was an apothecary and a member of the Corporation . The engraving is emblematically framed in oak , and is inscribed -. " Presented to the Eboracum Lodge , No . 1611 , on the occasion of the installation of Bro . Wm . Brown as W . YORK . —Eboracum Lodge ( No . 1611 ) . —At the installation meeting of this lodge , held on the Sth inst ., a valuable presentation was made b y Bro . Frank Smith , P . M . S 37 , in the shape of an engraving , somewhat rare , in a perfect state , representing a view of the city of York , taken in 1740 by Nathan Drake , from the New Walk on the side of the river Ouse . The chief Masonic interest of this engraving , which was executed by Grigium , is found in the

fact that the New Walk was laid out and planted in 1 S 30 by Bro . John Marsden , a member of the Grand Lodge of All England at Yoik , who was an apothecary and a member of the Corporation . KOYAL COMMEMORATION LODGE ( No . rj 8 j ) . —A meeting was held at the Railway Hotel , Putney , on Monday , thc 22 nd inst . Present : Bros . Slinn , W . M . ; Cutbill , S . VV . ; Sapsworth , J . W . ; Grundy , Sec . ; Carter , P . M ., S . D . ; Harling , J . D . ; Featherstone , D . C ; Bond , Treas ., I . G . ; Webb , P . Mf and Radcliffe . The lodge was opened In due form , and the minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed . The ceremonies of initiation and passing were rehearsed , Bro . Radcliffe being candidate on both occasions . Bro . Cutbill was elected W . M . for the ensuing week , and after " Hearty good wishes , " the lodge was closed .

COVENT GARDEN LODGE ( No . 1614 ) . —The usual weekly meeting of this lodge of instruction was held at the Criterion , Piccadilly , S . VV ., on thc 18 th inst ., when Bro . E , Farwig , P . Farwig then delivered the charges to the Wardens and brethren in a clear and distinct way , which the brethren present were much delighted with . time thc ollicers as appointed at thc meeting of the nth would take their places next meeting . On lising for the third time the ] . W . proposed that a vote of thanks be recorded on the minutes oi : this lodge of instruction to Bro . E . Farwig , for the excellent manner in which he had worked the ceremony of installation ; it was most perfect and excellent . This being seconded , was carried unanimously . Bro . E . Farwig made a suitable reply , thanking all the brethren for their kindness and attention . The lodge was then closed and adjourned . The brethren on parting said they had spent a most enjoyable and instructive evening , and hoped to see Bro . E , Farwig more amongst them .

NEW FINSBURY PARK . LODGE ( No . i 6 oj ) .-At a meeting held on Tuesday , the , ijrd inst ., at Hornsey Wood Tavern , there were present Bros . Jenkins . W . M . ; Gush . Preceptor ; Larchin . S . following brethren : First Section , Bro . Briscoe ; Second Section , Bro , Beck ; Third Section , Bro . Salmon ; Fourth Section , Bro . Hodges ; Fifth Section , Bro . Snelling ; Sixth Section , Bro . Gush ; and Seventh Section , Bro . Larchin . After motions for the election of ncw members , and a vote of thanks to the brethren assisting , the lodge was adjourned until Tuesday next , when the Second and Third Lectures will be worked .
