TN the extracts from Mr . Hay ' s "History of Arbroath , " published in the - " - freemason * I had occasion to refer to some curious points relating to a seal discovered in the ruins of the Abbey , and used in 1789 " b y the Lodge of bt lhomas , of Arbroath , to seal the di plomas granted by them to their brethren .
